  January 9, 2021 - Garnet to ruby colored. After a two hour decant, this offered very bright aromas of sour cherry, allspice, pepper and leather. It was quite powerful, but the fruit balanced the alcohol well so even I didn't think it came across as "hot." More perceptible secondary 'brown" and "black" notes as it spread across our palates (my version of synthesthesia). This is in a good window, but should gain more complexity in the next years. Delicious with roast pork.
