  February 22, 2021 - Virtual Men's Wine night (Zoom): From carafes poured two hours earlier. Dense, elegant, and balanced on the palate with cassis, strong tannins, and some smoke on the finish. I think this would have benefited from more air or cellar time. My #2 of 5 and the group's #1.

  2/26/21, 7:20 PM - One of the things I love about CT: I'd never heard of this wine, and looking at the winery's website and seeing that they have a tasting room in HMB, I'd *never* have guessed that they could produce a 95 pt wine. When the craziness is over, if they're still around, I'll have to seek it out. As a wild guess, did you bring the Cote Rotie to this august gathering?

  2/26/21, 7:42 PM - There are certainly surprises from time to time in Sonoma! I did not bring the LaLa. Mine was the Mollydooker, which underperformed.
