March 9, 2021 - Clos Lunelles has been an outstanding Castillon. Impressive wines from 2003 and 2010 and this 2016 is no exception. Very rich and intense purple red colour. Nose is not too expressive. Leather, oak and ripe red fruit. Fine tannin with a long finish of wood, plum, black tea and violet. I'd appreciate more if the acidity is higher. Reasonably priced and highly recommended. I won't say it can last for ages, but 10 years will do effortlessly fine.
