March 12, 2021 - Two hour decant. Black olive color with tones of garnet. Warm and generous nose - red currant, blackberry, cedar/cigar humidor, allspice & clove, hints of red flowers and dried herbs. Broad, succulently ripe and savory palate - stately black and red fruit and quick secondary depth of anise seed, spices and cedar. Dense and compact, medium-bodied, fleshing out with air. Plenty of tension, very firm tannins, fine-grained. Ample stuffing on the finish. Early to mid-primary, but a good early look. Hold 5-10+ years.

3/12/21, 9:17 PM - Thanks for the comment Mark. Air is definitely your friend on this. It keeps getting better with time in the decanter. No hurry, will age a long time, but no shame in enjoying now if you're craving a good Bordeaux.
