  December 31, 2008 - Really starting to show well. After an hour open it showed a classic Rhone nose of garrigue, hints of tabacco and some pepper. On the palate the wine gives up bright fresh fruit with good acidity and a nice tannic backbone that says this has a few years ahead of it. I was very impressed with how well it paired with food, no surprise since it comes from Kermit. A very good wine that overperforms for it's price point. Blind I would have thought it was a Village level Cdr, specifically a Cairanne.
