March 19, 2021 - Bright and zesty berry. Thick and bold, but still somewhat racy and fresh. More tasty than serious or elegant.

3/19/21, 8:35 PM - Trying to understand the appeal here to justify 25 - 50% premium above similar DCV / RRV peers like Ridge, A. Rafanelli, Bedrock, Nalle, etc.

3/20/21, 10:06 AM - I haven't opened Dina's yet, but the regular Hartford Old Vine is a killer wine that is right up there with Ridge, Bedrock, and Carlisle.....which is not the type of praise that I casually throw around. Walks the line perfectly with deep, beautiful fruit but plenty of acidity to keep it fresh and structured. Highly recommend if you haven't tried it. Cheers!

3/21/21, 7:50 AM - Thanks for OV rec and guidance...really makes me want to organize a 2016 'Zinfandown' with some wine peeps to blind taste 5 or 6 stalwarts with price strata at ~ $20 / $30 / $40 / $50 / $60. Group then ranks taste and value guesses. Would be fun and educational, if/when it happens we'll fire up the 'cue and I'll report out!
