  March 30, 2021 - Decanted for two hours. Medium to deep ruby with colorful legs suggesting high extract. Openly expressive nose of black currant, integrated oak, and nuances of pine needles and baking spices. Intense, mouth-filling ripe fruit counterbalanced with an equal measure of acidity. Fine but grippy tannins. Very well made wine which hides its 14.9 ABV well. Long finish and the flavors are bold and immensely likable.
