  April 2, 2021 - Moderate extraction and color for a rosé. Mostly dry finish, with a barely percetible RS. Complex, great flavors going on. Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. This was one of the standouts of the night at a tasting of many of the less commercially known AOCs in France.
  
  Fun story about this winery. Chateau de Goulaine is a Loire vintner whose family has been making wine on site for over 1,000 years. The chateau was originally a castle built to keep out Normans. They are the oldest known winery still in business, the oldest European family run business, and the 3rd oldest commercial enterprise in the world. Wow. Kudos.
