Community Tasting Note

  • J'agnes Likes this wine: 90 points

April 11, 2021 - Nice neat closure. Deep ruby with massive glycerol legs in the glass. Big cassis nose on opening and maybe sweet oak notes. Big plum and blackcurrant - slightly overripe and certainly a massive wine - very Parker early noughties style? Nice finish with plenty of tannins giving a good indication that this should have many years left. Having said that this is in a pretty good place right now. Drink or keep - win-win wine.

3/28/22, 5:37 AM - Thank you. I thought the note about a 6 hour decant may have been part of their problem. I have one that I will try to open soon.
