April 20, 2021 - Fully saturated cork. I’ve seen a few other reviews that said this - I wonder what that is about. Wine is not flawed. Opaque, dark ish purple. Deep red fruit, some raspberry on the nose. But not a strong nose. Medium plus tannins. Earthy red fruit on the palate. Slight heat. Enjoyable wine, and will be better with dinner when ready.

4/20/21, 4:52 PM - I've opened two bottles of my case purchase (from Garagiste) and both have had corks very close to saturation. Thankfully both bottles have been very delicious, but I'm weary about saving these long term (as I was planning when I purchased).

4/21/21, 4:45 AM - Curious if they changed corks in the newer vintages. I've been buying this wine back to the '09 vintage and have never had issues. I'll have to open an '09 and '18 and inspect...
