  April 22, 2021 - Exploring 2018s and 2019s in Napa - Spring 2021; 4/18/2021-4/22/2021 (Napa Valley, CA): Beautiful nose of minerality and earth, but ripe flavors of red/black cherry, blackberry, currant still shine through. Notes of crushed gravel, vanilla, cinnamon, bell pepper add to its complexity. Gigantic wine with huge but velvety tannins, lush body, elegant mouthfeel, with hint of sweetness lingering on the finish. Super well integrated already, and one of the best 2017s I've had from Napa Valley.
