May 21, 2021 - Forward and rustic bouquet of concentrated fermented bean paste, black berries, clove, star anise and old leather. Rich and almost oily palate with earthy spices and old leather furniture from entry to finish which has some chewy tannins. Intense and balanced structure. The mid-palate could open up more with a few more years of aging.

6/6/21, 4:45 PM - Thanks for the updated infor. A good Brunello doesnβt really need much oak influence to make it shine. In fact sometime I find it is very difficult to appreciate when it is aged in too much new oak.
