May 26, 2021 - Too early, even with significant decanting. Will be delicious in five years.

5/26/21, 7:35 PM - This was one of those funny '18s that could be drunk early but only in the first hour or two. Once air hit it, it shut down. Now it's going thru its natural shutdown phase it appears. In a year or two it will be killer!

5/26/21, 7:39 PM - Good feedback, thanks. I was nervous to go PnP, but it didn’t fit my scheduling regardless. Will bear in mind when I open next bottle, but will still wait awhile as I focus on some of my older (5-10 years) Bevans, which I find to be a wonderful window for Russell’s wines.

5/27/21, 6:03 PM - There’s no way I’m waiting five years, but I will wait until next summer. The ‘16 is drinking really well right now and I’m sure this is similar. Cheers y’all!
