  June 8, 2021 - Decanted for three hours but a fourth would have been better as initially the wine was mostly texture without complexity. It is both structure and depth which made this bottle so successful: the acidic bite followed by echoing fruit at the finish. Plush across the palate with tea-tinged dark berry fruit, I found the wine quite pleasurable several hours in. The wife? Not so much.
