  June 15, 2021 - The curse of a 100 pt wine is expectations. In short, this wine is delicious and memorable. Brought to a restaurant so was not able to decant in advance. Opened up after about 1 hour. Wish I had decanted for several hours.

  10/3/21, 11:46 AM - I decant for several hours and use a funnel to pour back into the bottle and then take it to the restaurant already opened. They don’t need to actually uncork it at the restaurant

  10/3/21, 11:51 AM - Decanting prior to arriving at the restaurant backfired on me once when they refused to allow a wine that had already been uncorked. This is an obscure rule in some states apparently.
