June 25, 2021 - Finally, down to my last bottle of a Gov Newsome owned winery in the cellar. Now that I've cancelled him, no more Odette, Plumpjack, Cade and Adaptation in my house......this was a nice drinker, but a tad thin and higher red fruited. Nothing to indicate it's worth the pricepoint, IMO........kind of an empty feeling drinking this one and I mean that from the palate and not from the heart. It just didn't have much 'there' there for the price compared to the rest of this evening's wines.

6/26/21, 6:05 AM - It was a decent bottle just not worth the pp or up to some of the other wines. Has a bit of a mass production feel to it which it is.

7/7/21, 9:24 PM - Agree on these being overpriced and underdelivering. Had a brief fling with them as well, starting with their Merlot but never really got the ratings for the Cabs, as you say thin and red fruit dominated. Tasting room was also a letdown when we visited.

7/7/21, 9:40 PM - Yes....went once, was scheduled 4 months in advance, we get there and they act like we never had a res, even though I proved to them we did. Our server was a put out old guy who obviously wasn't happy working there or with life in general. Never went back. Found out Newsom owned them later on.....that's a big no go for me.
