  June 26, 2021 - First taste of any of the 2019 Black Slate wines. I really like these and think they are a great value.
  
  I generally prefer the Escaladei and Porrera wines to the ones from Gratallops, but this was excellent, especially considering how young the wine was. While very Priorat in character (ripe black fruits, floral elements, a grilled note) it wasn’t too concentrated and the acidity kept it in balance. Long finish with a nice spicy note. Really enjoyable.
