• Vino Loco Does not like this wine: 85 points

  July 7, 2021 - With all due respect to anyone that rated this wine over 90 points, you need to drink some different wines.
  
  Sugar, sugar, and more sugar. You can’t taste the fruit, may as well have taken a package of grape juice powder and added some water to it. No thank you.

  8/14/21, 11:18 AM - Disagree, solid cabernet albeit on the fruity side which there is nothing with- a consistent Napa producer who makes good quailty wines overall

  J'Lohr or Josh give you the same experience for significantly less money. I generally don't care for wines that are overly engineered - pumped full of mega purple and sugar, or fake oak - but appreciate the style is very popular with others. If you enjoy it - drink it!

  8/14/21, 12:43 PM - absolutely, but their Allomi wine is quite different than Josh or J Lohr-it is a fruity cab and that is not for everyone but provides a bit uniqueness and I wouldn't say it is overly sweet but does have a lot of good fruit especially for the price. are you sure you didn't have the Hess Select Cabernet?- that is on par with basic Josh or J Lohr. Not a huge California Cab fan overall - some of the mountain wines are interesting otherwise they aren't overly unique.
