July 13, 2021 - Color: very dark ruby. Nose: hints of laurel, iodine, grass, a fresh herb like rosemary and fruit. Taste: plum and cherry and on the first day still a noticeable amount of fine tannins and a modest acidity, but already showing its finesse. At the third day the tannins were more resolved, with a nice balance and velvety texture. This is not a spectacular wine in any way, but more refined and friendly - more or less the profile of Medoc 2005. I guess, that it has a potential for further development. Next bottle not before 2023. For now: 89, potentially 90+.
