  July 16, 2021 - Beautiful, complex wine at an excellent price. It is in a perfect drinking window right now though still has a way to go in its longevity. There is a lovely spice (cardamom?) on the nose that it very inviting. Earthy but still fruit-driven on the palate with many layers. My only minor quibble is that it tastes a bit hot on the finish but I think that just speaks to its age more than anything. I hope this is indicative of the '16 vintage in the WV.
