  July 22, 2021 - This is in good shape - currant, capsicum, herbal nose with a touch of char. Palate is cherry, mint, something smoky, almost seems like there was a toasty barrel that's all but disappeared into the wine leaving only a bitter ash element behind. Still fruited but the tannin may outlast that in another decade, 12.8% alc and firmly classic.
