July 24, 2021 - Vice Versa Wine Dinner: This is always a wow wine for me. The LPV and M7 had a slightly better showing, but this was no slouch and showed as much promise as ever. All the blueberry pie, white flowers, crushed rock and wet stone that is normally associated with this vineyard explodes from the glass. Powerfully rich and concentrated with that oh so ridiculously pure and yummy blue fruit reaching every crevasse of the palate, this is stunning. I am always taken by the unreal purity of the fruit from this site, and this vintage shows it off in spades. Perfectly integrated tannins and seamless texture frame pure opulence and hedonism in a glass. The finish is massive and has a nice mineral streak. 98+

7/27/21, 9:31 PM - all in all. how do you compare '18 to '19. 18 needs few more years?
    '19's drink or hold.
Just curious as I have some 18's Carter, Purlieu, Scarlett, Myriad, Quivet, Realm, Bevan, etc..'19 on the way...
My personal thoughts were '18 need at least a year or two to settle in/settle down.
    hbu?

4/14/22, 12:52 PM - Hey Cristal. Going up to Napa for my wife’s 40th bday in October and based on your recommendation called up vice versa for a tasting. Was told the tasting fee is $175 per person! Maybe I’m out of it but I remember when $75 was a crazy high tasting fee (which obviously isn’t the case anymore). If you are a member there will they still charge you tasting fees?

4/14/22, 2:33 PM - Hi B&B: I think the tasting fee is for folks who aren't current buyers. It's a way to make sure people don't come in for some free $250 cabs. If you ask, I would imagine they will waive it with a purchase. If that doesn't work, I'll give you my email and I'll reach out on your behalf. This all assume you'd be a buyer when you visit of course. Cheers.
