Community Tasting Note

July 31, 2021 - I am not much for in depth tasting notes, but this thought i would add one given the lack of updates on this wine as it ages. Assuming everyone drank theirs as it was so lovely. Bought from winery, stored all these years in my wine fridge. This wine is coming into its prime, its still strong well integrated, and full of flavour. Tannins are well rounded with some power left on the tongue, black cheeries, dark red fruit, plum, almost raasin, dates, oak, medium depth, full mothfeel, still packing the classic BC wine acide back, although tamed over the years. a great balance and why i say its just coming into its prime. Likely can rest another 5 years. Nose has wood, brown sugar, currents, with a grass note. Drinking wonderfully, drink up or hold for a few more year. A great burrowing owl, wines like this are what more people internationally need to try as the industry matures.
