  August 7, 2021 - This was as wild and wonderful as I remember tasting at the estate. Tight but unwinding structure, gravel, fine tannins, and explosive fruit all made choreographed appearances in this production. This was both untamed, yet incredibly elegant. Promontory always has this wild elegance to it, I’ve never tasted anything else like it in the valley still. This was decanted for ~3 hours and definitely could have used several more. Huge upside in 3-10 years. This will probably last decades 99+
