This seems to have gained a bit of body and seemed to have richer, deeper, fruit notes. It still has the expected Chamomile, hazelnut, baking spice notes, but the baked apple, dried stone, salty citrus, fruit notes are much more dominant.

I can't drink these without the whites from Lopez de Heredia in mind, but with a little age, I think there's a bit of stylistic difference, with these showing a bit more power to the greater nuance and complexity of LdH. That sounds a bit pejorative, but these carry a weight and density that deserves its own consideration.

Probably best served at a warm Chardonnay or Beaujolais temperature. Worth searching out, but a KYC wine, as traditional Rioja Blanca is suited for a limited crowd.
