  September 4, 2021 - First, this was delicious. No hesitation on saying that.
  
  Let it sit in glasses for about an hour. Aromas of tart cherry, sandalwood, and pinot funk. The taste is high toned red fruits, some dark cherry, sandalwood, with velvety soft tannins underneath. There was a bit of savory spice at first, but it faded as the wine opened up. Moderate to high complexity, moderate plus finish, great structure and acidity.
  
  I wouldn’t hold this for 20 years (as @vagenius suggested), but I suspect it will continue to be a well balanced wine for at least 2 or 3 more years.
