  January 29, 2009 - Opened and decanted for 5 hours. The wine was drunk along with a 2001 Viader, a 2000 second wine of Montrose and a 2002 Ruston Stagecoach and this wine stole the show. The other wines were good but this wine was blackberry pie with tar and smoke in a bottle. The acidity kept the wine nice and balanced and the tannins made for a great finish. The wine is still young but drinking great.
