September 15, 2021 - Pop and pour. Enjoyed with food and then on its own.
    Purple color.
Nose is initially like a bouquet of flowers - mix of floral notes and green leaves. Then opens to dark fruits - a nice plummy, and blackberry note with a core of wet fresh earth.
Delicious dark fruited wine with depth of flavors. Good acidity that highlights the fruit and the earth and dark spice notes.
    Delicious.
Has sufficient qualities to improve with a year or two in bottle but this is quite inviting now, even on just pop and pour.

9/17/21, 9:55 AM - You liked it too. I had second thoughts about passing on the vintage (I've not missed buying one for close to 2 decades) and I sourced a 3 pack of the 2018 a few months ago. Really good. It's my splurge Pinot, and it's now over $100 a bottle....did you see the pricing on the 2019 last week? I buy very little Pinot Noir anymore so I grabbed a 3 pack but they finally busted through the "C Note" milestone. Wow.

While the Pisoni Estate tends to be bog shouldered Pinots, they do retain a sense of place and elegance.
And they are taste good too!
