  Aromas definitely showing a strong herbaceous and green presence; herbs, bay leaf, green bell pepper, black pepper, No. 2 pencil, un roasted coffee bean, cassis, dark cherry, blackberry, plum, pine resin and lighter hints of tobacco, earth and cocoa nib.
  The palate is medium-plus in body with moderate tannins and above moderate acidity. Flavors follow the nose and show notes of sage, bay leaf and thyme w/ green bell pepper and black pepper laced notes of dark cherry, blackberry, black plum and cocoa nib that bring in notes of forest floor, tobacco, cedar and coffee bean. The finish is dry and ever so slightly astringent.
