September 28, 2021 - First of all, my bottle does not say Eola-Amity Hills anywhere, just Willamette Valley. I think this is overrated, and definitely overpriced. I hate the hard plastic-y wax capsule, opening is a pain and it’s easy to end up with bits of that in your glass. Is this Burgundian? Sure, in a Macon sort of way. Montrachet? No way, it doesn’t have the depth of fruit. Definitely balanced and enjoyable, and certainly appreciate the low alcohol (13%). I’ll just spend my next Chardonnay $ elsewhere.

10/21/21, 9:44 AM - Sorry the wine disappointed, but no need to try and chip off the capsule. Just put your corkscrew through it and it comes off easily as you extract the cork.
