September 30, 2021 - Clear medium red. Medium light nose, black berry, warm currants, and a hint of funky rubber. Tight dry berry flavours and a balanced finish.

Not sure if it was me or the wine, just not very exciting until the last glass.

9/30/21, 10:21 AM - I have this, too. A bottle about six months ago was lackluster; hopefully the Tardive I also own is a tad better but basically, '18's just a dud vintage.

9/30/21, 10:54 AM - Agree that '18 is a poor vintage, with only '15 being worse in recent memory. These hot vintages are bad news for my preferred style in Beaujolais.

9/30/21, 3:42 PM - I am not sure what to think. The night before we had an18 Jean Foillard Eponyme that was great. It accompanied one of the best meals I can remember eating. It was at a restaurant called Pluvio.

So I opened this for a comparison. Distant second place.
