October 1, 2021 - This is a top notch hunter shiraz. Decanted for about 3 hours to really open up. Lots of plum & cherry on the palate along with a good hit of spice, tobacco & earth. The medium body gives this wine a level of subtle sophistication, velvety to silk tannins with a medium finish. A well balanced wine and a complexity that holds your interest. Enjoyed alongside a Black Angus bavette steak.
Very approachable now though excited to see how this develops over the years to come.
