October 5, 2021 - Amazing wine!! All kinds of complex goodness even on first pour. The deep rich color as it poured into the decanter was beautiful. Should benefit from aging the next 5-10 years, but surprising approachable after an hour of air time. Nose has plum and currant fruit with cedar and tobacco under tones. Medium to full body on the palate. Would love to see this vintage pop up again on my wine feed.

Perhaps some day our peeps & your peeps'll break bread & crack 10 year old Bin 389s together as well... Your thought of holding 389 is SPOT ON and we're drinking our 11s and 12s now. A decade is when this regularly excellent vin really hits its stride! Keep on keep'n on! We're gonna go read more of your notes, looks like you've got just a few here on CT! LOL! Glad we saw this.
