  October 14, 2021 - I have a college (but legal) aged son who has a palate far beyond his years and income. He tried it last night semi-blind and said, "Wow...dad...this is the shit!" Daou tends to think pretty highly of their products, and, as in this instance, it is often warranted. Chocolate dark cherries, a little raspberry, long finish. Would score it higher if it weren't slightly monolithic and a little scorched as PS dominant wines sometimes are. Still, if you've got aged steak or even great pizza, this would be go-to juice.
