Grapefruit and lemon zest rather than stone fruits, the wine is oily in texture and mineral at the same time. No idea about vine age, but suspect I prefer the Kumeu Estate at the price point. The $55-60 price range is crowded with options better than this. Much prefer the home vineyard offerings from this very fine producer of Chardonnay.
