  October 30, 2021 - I’m constantly in search of pinot that’s got more funk / earth / moss / forest floor notes, and less fruit driven. Unfortunately, this isn’t it. There’s some of that on the nose, but the taste is too much extracted / candied red & black fruit notes. It gets better after being open for a couple of hours, but still far too fruit focused for my tastes. Granted, it doesn’t suck by any means; just not to my flavor profile. For $33 US it’s a pretty decent value for those who like the style.
