  February 8, 2009 - This wine needs more time but overall is quite disapointing for the vontage and producer. Funky Volnay nose on opening with mushroom and wet earth with red fruits. Very linear and monolithic on the palate with a rather short finish. Never seemed to expand even with decanting. Med body with smooth tannins and mild acidity.
  To revisit in 3-4 years but I think this will stay at the village level quality. For the price, I'll pass.
