  February 9, 2009 - Unctuously textured, with dates, raisins, figs, and mulling spices. Has outstanding concentration, but is just a touch flabby for my tastes -- the lesser of two bottles. Shows some signs of past seepage, which could indicate that the wine was exposed to excess heat during transit. This would explain the variation and the flabbiness. Still, a lovely wine.
