Any thoughts you can share with respect to provenance / storage of this bottle?

Ominously this bottle was from Acker’s ‘The Cellar I’ in 2006, which was notoriously one of the first big Rudy Kurniwan sales. We examined the cork which was correctly branded. Hard to say if this was a fake or genuine cork. My instinct is that this was a real bottle honestly corked, but impossible to know. I didn’t think Rudy did much forgery with TCA and thought much of his ‘brilliance’ was his ability to make such superb fakes as to pass for the real thing. I’m also not sure that ‘90 Dujac would have been the sort of bottle to forge back in 2006. Interesting in any case. The backup from the same generous source (different provenance) was a ‘93 Clos St. Denis which was excellent but on which I did not get proper notes as it was rather late in the evening after an exhaustive line up.
