  November 5, 2021 - Dark red with some moderate purple. As an Old World lover, I never would have picked this as a Cab Franc. More like a cab sauv from a hot climate. Way too extracted for me. It tasted hot with high fruit, high tannins. No pencil shavings, vegetal notes or game here. Served at a CdS special dinner, paired poorly with a carne asada salad with a vinaigrette. Completely overpowered the poor asada.
