November 20, 2021 - I opened a bottle at 7:00 am to slow oxed. You could just smell the cherries. Overwhelming and I’ve never had that upon opening. Put int a decanter 11 hours later and the cherries are still there. Wow the first sip is amazing cherries surrounded by red fruits tar a bit of cloves and cinnamon. It’s been a few years since last bottle and this is still got many years left. One of the best wines of the year. My wife couldn’t stop drinking it, which is very unusual. Just got better and better as it sat in the glass. This is exactly why we cellar wines. Can’t wait for the next one. Fantastic.
