  November 27, 2021 - Some trepidation in opening this wine as no CT notes posted. Gave it a 1.5 hr. decant back in the bottle for 1 hr. until arrived at restaurant. Showed beautifully at a great spot. Full bodied, layers of dark fruits, cocoa and a smooth lingering finish. Clone 341 is distinctly a "classy" Coombsville wine.

  11/30/21, 3:46 PM - I was feeling the same way. Been looking at the bottle for the last 6 months thinking I'm ready, are you? Now the trick is going to resist opening my last one. Sounds like a very fun vertical you have waiting for you. '14 didn't disappoint.

  12/1/21, 6:17 AM - Recently had the 341 when Anthony with Covert was in Houston. The 18 showed very well for being so young. Loads of dark fruit and dusty fine tannins. Very much what you'd expect from Coombsville and Fayard. Thanks for posting Papillon.

  2/1/22, 5:25 PM - Hi MJP. My sister/brother in law just got back from Napa went to Covert and had a similar impression as you about the 2018 Clone 341. I was thinking ‘19 but then again no better time than the present . Thanks again for your TN.
