  December 2, 2021 - Excellent value here. The flavors won't knock your socks off with complexity, but what is there is pure, concentrated, and correct. Very dark, begins smooth but also builds to chewier tannins. The flavor profile is delineated, allowing you to pick out the grenache, syrah, and carignan characteristics. Dark fruit, anise, musky earthiness, and no alcohol burn.
  
  I thought the wine was fine at cellar to room temperature, but it did benefit from a decant and airing 30-60 minutes. The initial glass felt thin without the air time.
