Community Tasting Note

  • iamandyc Does not like this wine: 80 points

December 4, 2021 - Thin, lacking flavor, blah over 3 days. Couldn't coax much out of it. Ripped off at $60 -- there are better cabs at $20.

12/5/21, 6:28 AM - Hi Grateful! I had bought two from the winery and tried them both. I had enjoyed previous vintages but their 2017 just didn't perform, especially for a $60 bottle. Probably a vintage thing as I usually enjoy Pott wines including those he makes for others.

12/5/21, 7:04 AM - Thanks for the reply! I too have enjoyed other Pott wines and his other projects, and grabbed two of these plus some of ‘18 because of that. I found the ‘18 to be decent, but would choose Caterwaul, Teeter-Totter, or Frog’s Leap at this price point. Cheers!
