  December 14, 2021 - Really fun wine, and our first Marzemino, a late-ripening, dark-skinned grape variety from Lombardy. Body is light like a pinot noir. Nose is fresh cherries and strawberries. Palate is smooth yet heavier than you'd expect from its look. Packs more of the cherries and srawberries, but also honey and mint which lets face it, are very rare for a red wine. It's enjoyable at room temp or cool, with or without food. But the wine shows different characteristics in each of these ways, making it more enjoyable and unique. Nice find and good QPR.
