Community Tasting Note

December 19, 2021 - Pure and opulent. I almost can not feel the high ABV (15.6%). Earthy and cedary nose. The body was quite juicy with long lasting. Not a masterpiece but a solid wine. Drink now to 2025.

12/19/21, 9:28 AM - Nice note. Their cabs tend to need a fair amount of wine in my opinion. However, I’ve never had their cab franc but I recently picked-up a couple bottles. Curious if you see this wine improving much with more time? Thanks.

12/19/21, 3:53 PM - I usually decant the wine in wine cellar and drink it in two days. This one really can hold up for even longer, because it was still at the strong side in day two. I guess there is still a room for it to evolve but not much. Since the nature of this one is lacking some other elements (acid, the maturity of tannin, complexity of nose……..), it will be a clean, pure, and relatively simple wine after 10+ years.
