  February 20, 2009 - Cloudy garnet. Ripe black fruits, sandlewood, sous bois, cinnamon and black tea aromas. Woodsy and a bit gamey in the mouth with loose knit black fruit and tea flavors. Acidity is just hanging on and there is a touch of bitterness in the finish. Tasted from a half bottle. Probably missed the peak a year ago but not bad for a 2000 split.
