December 27, 2021 - Very expressive and effusive already. Remarkable given this is already here with a base 2018 vintage in it(07/20 disgorgement). Plenty of color with those peach and salmon tones giving dimension to the golden hue. Immediate big stone fruits on the nose of nectarine, peach and apricot with a strawberry background. Hints of yeastiness. Bright palate of sort of an orchard fruit cocktail. Lingering an sticky on the palate. Not quite the acidic precision to clean it up but the way this invite you probably won't care. This is very tasty and all up in your biz. The bigger dosage of 7g/L might want for aging but as open as this is I'm not sure I'd lay this down. There isn't a lot of density either. My biggest fear is that the expressiveness would fade out with more bottle time. It was like this over two nights. Delicious.
One note, the VV bottling of the Brut Reserve should be merged with this. The winery makes no distinctions between the bottlings. It appears to be a recent addition on the label. Mine has it the same as many of the pics on this listing do.

1/1/22, 9:20 AM - I've been waiting for this wine to roll out with the 2018 base in it, so thank you for the TN. ... From the press, it sounds like the 18' harvest was an impressive crop for Champagne. If you've had Bereche previous base vintages, is this one superior?

1/1/22, 10:48 AM - Hi 2020. This is the first time I've had a Bereche so I have no comparisons. I recently picked up some base '17 from a retailer so I will have that to compare it to soon.
