Very jammy nose. Off-putting sweetness on the palate that somewhat subsided with time in the glass. Full-bodied and rich.
Overall, a bit disappointed by this wine. My palate is probably too used to Old World wines, but then I've also had a couple of wines from Paso Robles that were, to me, much more enjoyable (perhaps because they were based on Syrah).1 person found this helpful 3,382 views

1/25/22, 2:02 AM - Thanks. My writing was not so precise. I meant that the wines from Paso Robles I enjoyed were blends based mostly on Syrah.
I've sold a bottle after this bad experience, will wait a bit for the next ones and make sure I open them enough in advance (in this particular case, I opened this bottle because the wine I had planned initially was not drinkable).
