    January 3, 2022 - Still young, needed a 2 hour decant before opening up optimally. Sipped over another two hours plus. Even better the second day.

    Black currant, black fruit, still very fruit forward, some secondary characteristics of leather and earthiness, but not very prominent. Tannins are low to medium and acidity is medium. Very nice elegant finish.

    This is entering a nice drinking window but I suspect I opened too early. I think it will be drinking better in 3-5 years.
